2 Cycles [Pure Noise] is “2 Cycles” is a platform for a sound and spacial performance system, including physical motion, mobile WiFi network, MAX/PD or Pure Data software sending UPD and Open Sound Control Messages and synthesizing sounds, a wiring I/O board is used to read the input by potentiometers that add some real time gesture to the performance.

The piece [Pure Noise] is the first essay or immature composition made with 2 Cycles.

COMDASUAR: an interview on “Asuar Digital Analog Computer” with José Vicente Asuar The work by composer José Vicente Asuar is presented in a general context, however the text has a focus on the COMDASUAR a digital computer made by the composer in Chile in 1978. The text is based in an on line interview made with the composer in February of 2008.

” The idea was to create an instrument that would deal with both aspects, on one hand it would help with the creativity of the composer and on the other hand it would bring out these aids immediately, in other words the sounds could be heard in real time, that is the idea of “real time”.
