Performance: Ecotone(2008)
Saturday, May 17th, 6:30pm – 7:15pm in Pao Hall, Room 1111
An ecotone is a transition between two adjoining ecological communities. The performer uses a custom-built interface to explore the boundaries of “two” communities of synthesized audio and realtime graphics, through improvisation, using an interface of sensors, movement and light. The artist will also perform with a few other custom/hacked electronic devices as well.
